Insights from the Road:
The Spire Open Houses of 2025 brought some members of the Spire Systems team across Canada. They visited five cities, engaging in hundreds of conversations, and gaining countless insights along the way. The tour brought us face-to-face with clients, authorized partners, integration partners, and future users. This allowed us to share best practices, tips and tricks and what’s coming down the road at Spire. Attendees learned how they can improve their use of Spire to run smarter, more efficient businesses. For those companies not yet using it, they learned how Spire can do the same for them.
One of the most valuable aspects for our team was the level of engagement and openness. In every city, business owners and teams shared their experiences, challenges, and creative ideas. That honest feedback helps shape how we continue to evolve the Spire platform.
Our Spire Open Houses took us through Winnipeg, MB; Langley, BC; Montreal, QC; Mississauga, ON; and ended in London, ON.
Every stop reminded us that Spire isn’t just software — it’s part of a broader business ecosystem helping companies manage growth and change with confidence.
Spire’s team members, Warren Flett (Product Information Specialist) and Katie Griffin (Director of Business Development), had the privilege of presenting on behalf of the whole Spire team. Everything presented during these events is the result of collaboration across every department at Spire—from development, QA, and marketing to accounting, technical support, and more.
The Power Behind the Presentation
Every product improvement we demonstrate, every question we answer, and every insight we share comes from the collective effort of our entire organization and our community of authorized Spire Partners. The same teamwork that powers these events also drives the experience our clients have in their businesses every day.
Finding Excitement in the Everyday
While Spire is an accounting and business management software, and much of what we talk about involves inventory management, debits and credits, and purchasing, there’s still something genuinely exciting about it. When someone in the audience discovers a feature that simplifies their workflow or sparks an idea for working smarter, you can feel the energy shift.
Offering real-world scenarios, from asking the question “why do we always do it this way” to finding the answer “because we didn’t know there was a better way”…
The Spire Open Houses remind attendees that even in a space that might seem routine, where we have a manutia-like aspect to entering daily transactions, that innovation can still feel fresh and impactful. Those light bulb moments make the work worthwhile.
Best of all, this year’s events gave our audience some insight into what’s on Spire’s roadmap. Offering performance improvements, user experience improvements, new technologies and more.
Looking Ahead
If your business is invested in Spire or you’re considering Spire, these Open Houses are a time well spent — truly worth the investment for any company looking to get more out of Spire. But don’t just take our word for it.
“The Spire Open House delivered incredible value. At first, I wasn’t sure if my whole team would benefit, but I decided to register everyone—and I’m so glad I did. There was something meaningful for each of us to take away. I’ll be closing the office again next year to invest in this conference. It was fantastic and offered far more value than the cost to attend.” – Alfred McLaren – ACE Canada – Attended Winnipeg Open House.
“2025 was my second time attending the Spire Open House, and this year I brought one of my top team members with me. Spire is a huge part of our day-to-day; the software, the company, and the people who support it are crucial to our success. Learning and participating as much as we can just makes sense. Spire has been a True game-changer for our brand.” -Bob Briggs – Bob Bakery World – Attended Langley Open House
“We recently engaged a new Spire consultant, and he encouraged us to attend. It quickly became clear why maintaining current versions of Spire is important. I had no idea the functionality we were missing out on. My team and I will be rolling this event into our annual training going forward.” – Anna Iammatteo – Fennec Foods – Attended the Montreal Open House
“Having worked with many ERP vendors in my career, I can say that attending this event highlighted how Spire’s relationship with its community is a unique one that you don’t see with many vendors. At a high level, it was valuable for me to learn about the various integrations that enhanced Spire’s capabilities, to gain insight into some of Spire’s roadmap, and to see the commitment to the customer’s user experience that Spire has.“ – Phillip Keenan – Diploma – Attended the Mississauga Open House
To everyone who attended, shared, and engaged — thank you. Your feedback drives us forward, and your success remains at the heart of everything we do. Save this Spire Events Web Page for information of future Spire Events.
