As we look back, it’s clear that Spire’s progress isn’t just about software—it’s about the collaboration and dedication of our partner community. Thank you for being part of this journey.
Seventeen booths, each with a clue,
But none will shout their name to you.
A riddle for each, both clever and sly,
To test your wit as time ticks by.
You’ll hunt, you’ll ask, connect the thread,
Find who fits the words you’ve read.
One hour sharp—no time to stall,
The prize awaits for those who solve all.
So gather your thoughts, prepare your stride…
The answers you seek are just steps wide.
With logic, luck, and questions bold—
Will you uncover the riddles untold?

Join Greg Varlow in a Spire Partner led session. We’ll be discussing how performing conversions to Spire from older legacy systems requires an extra level of planning and creates the need for a formalized process for assessing the customers’ needs, scheduling deliverables and defining the responsibilities. It further requires the need to devise time-saving reusable tools, investigating or developing utilities or third-party solutions for importing the required information from the current old system. Specialized functionality must be defined if it exists and a solution must be created within Spire, provided by third party solutions or developed as an add-on if required. Special attention must be paid to scope creep and proper time tracking to manage the over all budget and satisfy the customers’ expectations. Managing these expectations plays an important role due to the often “custom” nature of legacy systems and the length of time these systems have been embedded in the processes of the company. Dealing with higher levels of resistance and more in-depth training is often needed to over come this. Attendees of this session will be presented with tips, tools and ideas to deliver a successful Spire implementation with respect to these topics.
