We have detailed monitoring and alerting and make every effort to prevent downtime to your instance. In the event your instance is down, we’re probably already working on it. Send an email to partner support with the subject of “Urgent – Hosted Server Down” and someone will respond with a status update within an hour

  • Canadian clients have their data hosted in Central Canada data centre.
  • USA clients have their data hosted in the US West data centre.
  • Database backups are included in encrypted AWS S3 storage.
  • Snapshot schedules are respected and snapshots can be downloaded at any time.
  • The Spire database is stored in a secure AWS instance. All communication between Spire Desktop and the hosted Spire Server is encrypted with TLS.
  • Spire implements password policies that encourage strong passwords.
  • Spire implements rate limit authentication failures to prevent brute force attacks.
